Can Anybody Hear Me Goodnight, My Love Give Up My Heart My Home Youth/I Swear I’m Okay (this song better win the whole thing)
The Eternal Battle For Mike Cronin’s Soul A Part Of Me Give Up My Heart My Home Youth/I Swear, I’m Okay
The Eternal Battle For Mike Cronin’s Soul Goodnight, My Love Bang Bang My Home Youth/I Swear, I’m Okay
Can anybody hear me A part of me Give up my heart My home Youth/I swear I'm okay Mike Cronin is also awesome, so it doesn't really matter to me who wins between the two. For some reason I skip Bang Bang a lot, maybe it's because I find it too similar to everything they've done before. Sad to see Like Ghosts go already, but Youth into I Swear i just too damn good.
The Eternal Battle for Mike Cronin’s Soul (even though I just want to skip the dubstep part) A Part of Me (best song off the album) Bang Bang (this was the only tough choice for me) My Home (I don't really like this song too much, but I'd listen to it over the electronic version of a badass rock song) Youth/I Swear, I’m Okay (easy, Like Ghosts is the weakest song on here)
Yeah....I love the verses and chorus of this song so much and that ending rules, but the dub step bridge really does put a damper on it. A traditional break down similar to the outro would have really worked well there instead.
I think the only thing that bothers me about the bridge is that it's basically the same thing as the 10 year anniversary version of In the Shadows.
I don’t mind it too much, but it confuses me that in recent interviews they’ve admitted to chasing success to some degree with the past couple of albums, while to me it seems like this album has some blatant attempts at sounding modern.
I can agree on his vocals! Dan was so fantastic on every song on Wolves. I agree on that. Man, what a bad choice to do a dubstep version of that song instead of matching the rest of the album. Esp since they left off Burning Years and Falling Down That and Ryan said he put Youth in the album towards the end because he felt Wolves lacked guitar. Well, not putting in dub step would fix that
