First off, I more or less meant the singles in general. Second, Know Your Enemy and 21 Guns were both pretty big singles (RIAA Gold and Platinum respectively). Both top 3 on Rock Charts (#1/#3), and top 30 on the mainstream charts. Neither of them made it to the second round of this bracket.

 

You said "big singles." Also, they may have the RIAA certifications but they in no way had the same impact in the overall public consciousness that something like Good Riddance, Minority, American Idiot, or Boulevard of Broken Dreams did.
