Don't get me wrong, I own all their albums, I just couldn't get into a lot of them. I haven't listened to Insomniac in literally probably 20 years.
I don't really like much pre-Dookie. I Was There is by far the best song on this album, IMO. At The Library Going To Pasadena (don't like either of these two, but I guess this one is more tolerable) Only of You

Going to Pasalacqua is my favorite on here and it's also one of like five total songs on this thing I even consider going back to. It's pretty rough. The jump in quality just from this to Kerplunk is pretty crazy (and that's even apart from just the obvious huge leap in quality that the drumming took once Tre joined the band).
Pasalacqua is easily the stand out on Slappy imo but I really like Green Day, I Was There and Disappearing Boy as well. Agree that the jump from this to Kerplunk is huge
Gonna jump in at Kerplunk. Haven't listened to this album since the early 90s and don't recall anything from it. Listened to a little on Spotify today and just have no connection to it whatsoever.
