If the two best songs go out in the first round I will be upset. Especially against The Calander.

 

Nearly Witches has an incredible first verse but the rest of the song doesn't really match it.

Pretty easy round for me

 

Yep, The Calendar is awesome awesome awesome.

 

The thing about this album is that, in my opinion, there’s no bad songs - just some that are better than others.

 

It's so bland to me. That and Always are easily the weakest on the album for me.

 

I think Trade Mistakes and Sarah Smiles are the best songs post PO. Very surprised at how this round is shaking out, lol.

 

I love Always :( I liked it enough that I learned it on guitar in high school lol

And yea I've always had a soft spot for the Calendar. I like all the songs on this album, but Trade Mistakes, Sarah Smiles, and Memories are the three I listen to the least if I'm not listening to the entire album.

 

Haha, those are my top three and pretty much the only songs I revisit if I'm not listening to the entire album.

Always is killed for me by Brendon's falsetto. He's one of my favourite vocalists but I don't really like any time he's used falsetto.

Of course arguably the best four songs on the album duke it out in Round One, while the weaker songs get a bye lol. Damn you randomizer!

 

Fair enough I don't know I like the way his voice rolls over the guitar on Always (I don't know exactly how to explain it, it's like a push and pull)

We are just apparently on very different pages with this album haha

 

I kind of forgot how special this album is to me. I remember when Ballad of Mona Lisa came out how excited I were they were back and just being floored by that song and the video. I watched it sooo many times and like Nine in the Afternoon, I would just listen to the song on repeat for entire nights. It was also the first album cycle I was able to see Panic! on, and that show was also what introduced me to my fun. who are still a top 3 favorite band.

 

I want a new fun. record...
