I love every Cartel album except this one, which I've never given a proper listen to until now. Let's go.

Even though “Deep South” is the better song, I reeeaaalllly did not expect “Typical” to get left out in the cold - it’s a bop!

Similarly, even though I totally get “Perfect Mistake” winning, “Conventional Friend” is such a banger, you guys!

That's essentially what kept me away from this album until now. I'm really enjoying it, though, there's some really good songwriting on it.

Retrograde is the best song on the album imo, surprised at anyone not voting for it.

 

“Retrograde” is one of my favorite Cartel songs, but so is “Only You,” which is lovely, heartfelt, and a deserving winner.
