Idk Bedroom Talk is lame lyrically speaking, but that melody is soooo catchy and it’s just an overall super well written pop rock song. That bridge is bananas.
Hearing the difference in the two versions is just more evidence that the band didn't have too much control over their final product. I remember during a somewhat recent acoustic show, Kenny was talking about an entire section of "Ready" that they either made him add or cut out and he seemed pretty irked about it. Then at the end he said "...maybe I should have just left the curtain up on that one".
I think I remember liking both the Bedroom Talk and The World demos more than the album versions tbh.
The only part of The World that I’m not super into is the gang vocals in the bridge. I think the chorus sounds huge, way more powerful than it is in the demo version

Making Love Photography (really tough, but I think this is my favourite) Inspired by the $ (I’m pretty surprised The World won the previous round honestly. Not complaining though) Ready (not as easy a choice as I thought it would be)
B-List (honestly might be my fav from the record at this point in time) Photography (might be my second fav actually!) $ (easy choice, $ is waaaay better than The World and is a standout) Ready (I like Bedroom Talk more than most but Ready is just flat out better and more interesting)
