Just to add re. Love Drunk, Chemicals Collide was literally my favourite song of 2009. Underrated because it was tucked away at the back half of that album.

Probably true, given that Martin Johnson co-wrote arguably the best Dan + Shay song.

 

Also, for whatever it’s worth, it looks like they’ve changed their name to “BOYS LIKE GIRLS” in all capitals on Spotify. I noticed it this morning when browsing their catalog.

This is fantastic. I am so glad we are getting new The Night Game music in the guise of Boys Like Girls. I hope BLG plays a few TNG songs when they tour.

Came here to say this sounds exactly like The Night Game, but looks like I wasn't the only one to notice that. Don't mind it though, I'll gladly take an album full of slightly rockier Night Game songs

Agreed this sounds very TNG, however that song they were playing at WWWY festival actually sounded more traditional BLG as far as I can remember?

 

Song is fucking awesome, but yeah, I had to chuckle because it sounds so much more like a Night Game song than like a Boys Like Girls song.

 

This is 90% a Night Game song but with slightly heavier guitars. That being said, it absolutely rips. I love this.

 

Yeah give me ALL OF THIS. The Night Game rips.
