Only 30 minutes and I highly recommend it. Not only to see why Martin sees BLG as his current musical outlet, but the whole story about how the scene changed and why he disappeared. And his take on coming to love the old albums and why and needing to accept himself/the person that made them.

 

I really like how he talked about having to go back and fall in love with those early albums almost as if he was a fan. It really turns me off when artists are jaded about their past work, so that was refreshing to hear.

Met Martin of Boys Like Girls before the show tonight got my record signed and also got a guitar pick and one of John’s drum sticks

 

I saw them in Albany this summer and Martin threw more picks into the crowd than anyone I've ever seen do it in the 20 years I've been going to shows. The amount on that mic stand in the picture is probably less than a quarter of how many he threw haha.
