Haha I just randomly went to their web store to see if that new dog shirt was up there and saw the new EP. Nice surprise!

 

Ended up ordering a hoodie along with the new EP. There goes my late night impulse buy.

Hozier came out tonight and sang Salt In The Wound.

 

Every time I see Hozier I am shocked people like Hozier and that he's popular... is he? I actually don't know

They were amazing tonight and the new song was really good

 

Is that true though?? I've never heard anyone of any walk of life talk about him since his one song

 

A few of my irl friends like him. They don’t really listen to much music though, so maybe that’s his kind of fans!

 

He has a massive fanbase but hasn't had a hit since Take Me To Church, but he gets billed high at festivals, he was one of the top names at ACL this year (top as in in the big font on the left side of the poster)

 

that actually makes sense, kinda an artist for those people who don't really listen to music.... like the Lumineers

saw this and was also annoyed. Perhaps the song has a longer/different name now that it's coming out?

 

Ya I know a few people who really love Hozier. He fits right in with the Mt. Joy, Noah Kahan, Lumineers type fanbases. I think he's kinda cool I'd watch him if he played at Lolla or something.

 

listen, I love that my future Irish husband hozier performed with the boys. and that has me hoping that one day there will be a studio collab between them because from what I heard from online videos, their four voices together gave me chills.

 

I stand by Mt. Joy as good.

 

Hozier like "indie" bands that are popular to people who don't listen to music? Lumineers, Mumford and Sons? I drive to good old fashioned radio when I'm not paying for Spotify and so many songs sound the same sometimes. But I guess that's more to do with the homogeny of stuff that makes it onto the radio than the artists themselves
