The show was freaking great tonight. All the songs sounded soooooo good live. I was thinking about how many people were there compared to when I saw them last time and I just want to say…I think y’all deserve mad props because a lot of you were on the Julien/Phoebe/Lucy train from pretty much the beginning of their careers and now look how far they have come.
shoutout deadkidsean for being the first person on ap letting people know about sprained ankle as far as i know/remember
Honestly part of me is proud and the other part of me is like smh now tickets are more expensive and I'll be further away lol.
I’m simultaneously so happy for them and feeling a little bit like a boomer and pining for the days when I could see them play tiny clubs and they all, especially Julien, felt like “my” artists
I love it when unexpected boygenius appears. At an Americana/roots fest this weekend, Trent from the steel wheels brought his teenage daughter on stage to sing with him in the opening set for the fest. The song? Not Strong Enough. Shoutout to Trent for being a cool dad like that.
naming a more insufferable fan base seems like a pretty easy challenge, not that that dm isn’t obnoxious
For all the complaints about this fanbase I had a perfectly pleasant time seeing them on Saturday. Crowd around me was very nice and respectful, with only a few minor annoyances that I’d expect at any outdoor festival event. Post above seems like a very very minuscule portion of the fanbase being given way too much attention
yeah i went to one of the reset shows a few weeks ago and the crowd around us was super chill. to be fair we didn't venture further up than the sound board tho..lol
