What's funny is that it was the first time I heard Phoebe as it seems so, and didn't even realise that was going to be one of my favorite artists a bit later on ;d
Just realized I bought tickets for the wrong date of the re:Set tour. Feel like an absolute fool haha If anyone wants my (2) tickets to the Columbus OH stop on FRI 6/23 lmk. I will part with them for next to nothing if it means someone on here gets to see them
I was wondering if they'd all come out the other day. Not that I think she *has to* or anything but I'm not surprised she's choosing to share this moment with them.
absolutely bonkers I went to see Phoebe as a virtual unknown (opening for Julien who I hadn't heard of yet) at this fuckin place that holds 400 people max.. now they're both playing the biggest stadiums in the country.. really was not that long ago lol .. can't imagine how wild it must feel
Cool About It 3:09 We’re In Love 8:19 Not Strong Enough 16:42 Stay Down, Man (Dan Reeder cover) 23:12
Can we talk about how AltPress went from posting about mostly pop punk/emo/metalcore and platforming abusers and then at some point took a hard pívot and now posts about artists such 100 Gecs, boygenius, Ethel Cain, and other artists that aren’t in their normal realm, the kinds of artists they would never have covered a decade ago.
Just saw their re:set set and wow you’re going to love this tour. They played their entire discography and one solo song each!
I had a great time! Went to the Boygenius date last night and I’m going to the LCD Soundsystem one tonight. It was on grass at my location which was nice, parking was $25 flat in person and I got in and out of the lot immediately. They had 2 merch booths, one with general artist merch (included Boygenius, the Friday artists, as well as a few artists from other days of the fest) and one Boygenius booth. Shirts were $35. The bands themselves all killed it. Saw Boygenius at Coachella and this show is a (very) extended version of that one. The crowd was tiny. Could easily walk away for food/drinks/bathroom and make your way back to a good spot. overall- fun festival, wish it sold enough to be an annual thing
