anyone's shipped yet? i have a mystery tracking number shipping out of Anaheim, and this is the first thing i thought of.

 

This album is everything

 

The Julien songs are definitely the best

 

I think Lucy is the stand out but they all kill it.

 

Got tickets for Bend, cant believe I’m finally seeing CRJ also, let’s goooo

 

4-5 spins and I'm not loving this. It's good but think I agree with Hyden. The high point is absolutely the climax of "Not Strong Enough".

 

I can see not liking this album if you aren’t a fan of these 3 but if you like the 3 of them solo I don’t understand not loving this.

 

I like this but the Phoebe Bridgers ship might have sailed for me and I say that as a huge fan of both her albums

loving this. on my second listen now.

 

Every single song here is great, but holy shit "Cool About It" is fucking incredible.

 

This is good but it does feel like Bridgers kinda phoned it in while the other two brought their A-game.

 

I like but not love it after 2 listens. There are a lot of high points but a decent amount of forgettable moments. Not Strong Enough is far and away my favorite.

 

shocked ive seen barely anyone talking about Revolution 0, instantly my personal favorite boygenius song. Also Letter to an Old Poet is devastating. I really need to get my Nashville ticket already for Re:SET

 

Satanist live will probably be pretty awesome.

 

Lucy Dacus vocals on the opener are insane. Like butter.

 

Yeah I came into this a Phoebe fan with little knowledge of Julien and Lucy. Weakest material is easily Phoebe on this. Still like an 8 out of 10 on her output though.

 

Julien’s songs (plus Not Strong Enough, honestly not sure who took the lead on writing that one) are my favorite, but she’s also my favorite artist of all time.

 

I try to avoid sharing criticism that is obviously meant to be inflammatory, but this article is nuts. I do not think this album is above reproach or critique, but insipid? Really?

The harmonies are the best part of the whole thing. These three were made to sing together
