I use express vpn. Should be a 30 day free trial. Once installed select any country where it’s already tomorrow and turn the VPN on and then search for the band on YouTube and the record should show up.
I don't know why but I've never been able to get this to work and don't invest the time to figure it out because it's only a matter of a few hours.
Just like last week with Fall Out Boy, I will be waiting until it's midnight in Japan because my (free) VPN only has three countries available...and Australia and NZ aren't one of them. Lowkey kinda miss the days of megaupload and file-sharing services tho.
this is super nice although I can't say a lot of it is too immediate. the singles and "Satanist" are definitely my favourite tracks so far some oddly clunky lyrics especially on "Leonard Cohen", that song is... not for me. the production on this thing is absolutely pristine though
Have been associating getting new records on Fridays within the past couple years, starting right after midnight as for me - so I can wait ;D it's 8 more hours here, but I need to lurk for the first impressions hahh!
Um, this is amazing so far and the lyrics are exactly what you’d expect (in a good way!) Revolution 0 just killed me and I love Leonard Cohen. Edit: Satanist!
First impression is they def released the strongest stuff as singles , but it’s all good. Closing track is a highlight. love to listen as the artist intended, constant interruptions from New Zealand gambling ads
That sliding bass line in Satanist is where it's at. Edit: And the ending of Satanist. Hell of a song.
At the listening party I wasn't 100% sold on the entire record (I think it was just the way in which my first listen happened), but I just listened again in a quieter setting and it's all great.
This is very good overall. I'm not as blown away as I had hoped to be on the first listen, but I have a pretty good feeling this is going to get better on each listen. Especially once I listen with the lyrics in front of me. Standouts are $20, Cool About It, Not Strong Enough, Leonard Cohen, and Satanist.
