Woah! Seeing them with such a prominent placement on Coachella's lineup is blowing my mind. They've all come such a long way since that last EP.
The shit I miss with another horrid work day. Not arenas. No way. Large theatres are a possibility but I think they'll go for mid-cap venues and play multiple nights. Like this is 3-4 days at Thalia Hall here.
They already did two nights at Thalia Hall on their first tour and sold them out I’m pretty sure. With how absolutely huge Phoebe has gotten I really think they’ll shoot for the stars.
The show at Brooklyn Steel in 2018 was amazing but was NOT the kind of show you want to be all GA standing. 4 hours of standing completely still fucked my old man back up. So I'm all for Radio City, and two thumbs down on the Pier haha
Also Lucy sold out Thalia too last year on her own and Julien did two nights at a bigger venue in the city. I’d say 5,000+ capacity theatres or ballrooms. Aragon in Chicago, Anthem in DC, Radio City in NY, Shrine in LA. Venues like that. If not that a tier below and like 2,500+ capacity venues.
I want to know when the hell they had time to make an album given how busy they’ve all been. Not complaining though obviously.
