Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus & Julien Baker recreate Nirvana photoshoot as Boygenius

 

I’ve said it before, but it’s crazy how much things have changed since they released the EP and toured. Phoebe blew up and is now the biggest, Lucy also blew up (to a slightly lesser extent, but still) and while Julien didn’t get incredibly more popular like the other two, she still became more popular.

If the tour happened today the order would probably be Phoebe, Lucy, Julien which is crazy. Total change from the last time.

 

Without a doubt. It's interesting how they each filled a specific niche.

But that being said, I do think they'd do like the Wild Hearts tour where they switch off with some regularity. I don't think Julien ever closed a night (granted, I'm not taking the time to check) but she did not always open.

 

Do you know something? What does it meaaaaaaaan?
