I was sitting at top of balcony and they had the air conditioner running. It was so loud we couldn’t hear a single thing of that off mic final song :( other than that, amen it was
Honestly, it was even difficult to hear a lot of it on the floor (I was pretty far back though), but once the crowd started singing along, it was really beautiful.
I was in the middle of the floor and it was pretty quiet at first but got louder as it went on, yea. It was truly a magical moment and you could see how happy it made them too.
OFF MIC!!! I died and they seemed so happy and pleased people were singing along and it sounded so beautiful and they got all happy after the song was over. It was funny cause it sounded like mostly men singing along so it wasn’t actually kinda interesting harmonies lol (I was singing along of fucking course) People I was there with were mostly phoebe fans and I kept telling them seeing julien will make them fans and they were absolutely floored how demanding, amazing and passionate she sounded and I was like told y’all!
I'm going to the show as a Julien fan and casual can of the other two. I need to immerse myself in the next two weeks except sometimes their music makes me sad lol like it'd good obv but with my depression lately I've been trying to listen to upbeat so idk
Nobody even sang along it was definitely a boring crowd. The show certainly was excellent but I felt like if I sneezed someone would get mad for being too loud lol.
I want to add, the merch spread for this tour is unreal. And people seem to be buying a lot. I hope they're making bank on it.
I hope in addition to them making a ton off of this tour, that it encourages them to continue to tour on this
The fact that they’re still doing their solo sets makes it a no brainer for them to tour this everywhere (please bring this to the UK, haha!) But what I mean is that they’re still doing their solo stuff and have a platform for that within the tour, they all get on and are good friends and the tour is just doing really well... what’s not for them to like?! So as you say, I hope these factors encourage them!
nice informational email from thalia hall (especially in comparison to some other venues here) if anyone needs!
Discovered when I went to the J Brekkie aftershow this year that a couple blocks south of 18th St on Racine has free parking if you don't mind walking a few more minutes and wanna save some cash. I also ate at Dusek's before that show it's v good.
