This is possibly the greatest show I’ve ever been to and Boygenius hasn’t even started

 

I was a bit worried that would spoil they hype for next week but nope, now even more massively hyped lol

 

Well that was lovely to watch. Hope someone ripped it. Need that live version of Salt in the Wound on demand.

 

That bit they did during Julien's solo was hilarious

 

That was sooooo good.

I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve this other than be my amazing self

 

This show was so incredibly good, four straight sets of the best songwriters on the planet singing their hearts out. The supergroup set is the best part... there is no earthly explanation for why they’re so tight as a band on show #3, but it was stunning. “Me and My Dog” goes OFF live, even the three of them looked surprised by the audience reaction.

 

You’ll be happy to know they pull off every one of them live.

I work like two blocks from the venue tonight. Just grabbed a coffee in my office building and went out for a walk for lunch, and saw Julien walking down the street right outside my building. I walked up to her and said I was a fan and that I wrote my master's thesis on Sprained Ankle, and she was super nice about it, especially considering I was visibly nervous.

Probably seemed like I had just been a dude weirdly following her, which sucks, but seriously the coolest coincidence of my life.

 

First time I ever listened to Phoebe was when she was live on tour with Julien so it was pretty special to see them together again.
