I actually haven’t really listened to any of these artists much before, but these three songs blew me away... so I’m gonna change that.
There are no wrong answers with that album. I'd go with Funeral, Killer, and Would You Rather album version Killer is sooo damn good
it's about him I saw her on one tour and she introduced the song as "a love song for someone she really really doesn't like" (and on Georgia or Killer she said it was recorded by someone who asked for a picture of her before she would work with her). Then the next tour she straight up said it's about him. I like his music, seems like there's a high potential of him being a dick though
Yeah it's a shame cuz he makes great music, but I'm always seeing shitty things about him. I'm currently reading Meet Me In The Bathroom, and there's like a whole chapter talking about him being an asshole.
Honestly I might like Stay Down more than any Julien solo song, and I LOVE her solo stuff. Very excited to see how all their next solo albums turn out after working together.
I went into this expecting Julien’s lead song to be my fav...but damn if that Lucy Dacus track isn’t honey in my ears.
I find it funny Ryan Adams won't play shows in North Carolina. He just flat out won't play shows in an entire state.
The Presale for the show at the Wiltern on 11/30 will go live tomorrow morning at 10:00am PDT. The code according to their instagram is REMIX.

i've officially decided "me and my dog" is my favorite because it made me cry on my walk into work this morning. idk. the lyrics just hit me. "i didn't wanna be this guy i cried at your show with the teenagers tell your friend i'll be all right in the morning, it won't matter i wanna be emaciated i wanna hear one song without thinking of you i wish i was on a spaceship just me and my dog and an impossible view."
These songs are everything I could have wanted from this, me and my dog is a grower, like I liked it at first but I feel like it hits you the more you listen. The end of Bite the hand though with all the vocals is breath taking
