Anybody watching Thurman/Garcia? Could be good.

Edit: yeah, based on round one this is gonna be a good, or even great fight.

I think Garcia won the last couple of rounds. Fight is getting more technical and tactical, and that's good for Danny.

 

Heavy bias from the announcers, I think Garcia is doing better than they're giving him credit for

 

He's not getting dominated, but I think Thurman has won most rounds on work rate. I keep expecting Garcia to land a big counter when Thurman throws that wild overhand, but it hasn't happened yet.

 

Yeah, I have Thurman ahead too but I'm irked at them shouting over Thurman grazing Garcia and silent when Garcia has a solid counter

 

Garcia had the last 3/4. Idk if it's enough though

 

Good decision. Not sure how one judge scored it for Garcia.

 

Damn. Lemieux probably scored the ko of the year tonight. Stevens is ok, but dude was out for a disturbing length of time. Hope he takes a longer than usual layoff as a precautionary measure after that.

I think GGG won but it was definitely his best opponent that I've seen him fight. Can't believe the Chocolatito fight tho

Solid fight so far. Joshua started running his mouth as soon as he started losing

 

Klitschko has to do more. From a neutral viewpoint its an equal fight. But since he's fighting abroad he has to do more.

So, early reports are that Canelo - Chavez did 1 million PPV buys. That is an insane number. I can't believe anyone wanted to watch that fight. It was obviously going to be garbage.

Anyway, GGG-Canelo could basically charge me whatever they wanted and I'd pay it. I am so thrilled we are going to get that fight.

 

Wow. That punch was clearly after the bell. I don't know how that got so clearly messed up.

Looking forward to the main event.
