Going to be in Boston July 24-27 with my gf, any suggestions? Anys recs for food, music, things to do / see appreciated. I'm staying in Back Bay, we will have a car but will probably mostly try to walk around if possible

glad my work commute doesn’t lend itself to using the T much anymore. stuck on a train in this heat sounds awful

Damn Dodgers have to be in town while I'm visiting, I wanted to go to fenway but it's like 150+ each ticket

damn, that's pretty crazy prices. you could always just go down to fenway area and experience the environment, potentially get a spot early enough at Bleacher Bar to watch the game from the window view in there

Might be able to find a resale ticket cheaper closer to first pitch but I imagine the Dodgers would be one of the more expensive matchups even when the Sox are ass

too bad you aren't here when the rockies are playing, the tickets are only $38 lol

Yeah I was looking at all the surrounding games, all much cheaper lol. I'm not like a super big baseball fan but I definitely would have gone for tickets sub 50. Might take the advice and go by somewhere close for the vibe

Row 34 or Neptune oyster (row 34 less of a hassle to get into) - quintessential New England seafood done excellently

Giulia - best restaurant in the city imo, believe reservations open 2 weeks in advance (might be 30 days tho). Could sit at bar as walk in if getting there right before they open at 5

Notch Brewing/Pizza Project - best beer and pizza in the city across a courtyard from each other

Oh and from back bay definitely walk to the pru and go to tree house if you like beer (particularly IPAs) assuming you’re not from mass
