do you not get it if you didn't file taxes for 2021? I owed money this year and just didn't have any at the time (my old job fucked up my shit) I'll just let them take whatever I owed out of my return this spring.
oh its not as bad as it sounds, I owed like $80 but at the time i was broke af. I mean, still am but i might as well just let the IRS take it next round. It is what it is.
I haven't gotten a return yet and I did file taxes. Not sure how they are handling this (I assume they are handling it poorly)
From what I read, they are doing the refunds through December 15th. No explanation on who gets it when, at least nothing I could find
Some people got checks. Some got direct deposit. We got money back from the state. including my girls, but none of us have gotten anything back yet. Maybe we are in the end of the line since we got money back. Dunno. Just waiting it out.
Market Basket opens location in Shrewsbury on Friday A look inside before opening Irrationally excited about this and never needing to go to Shaw’s/Stop & Shop again
my town only has 2 grocery stores and they're both Shaw's and I hate it. also, I can't believe someone like Matt Damon or Ben Affleck hasn't made a movie about the Market Basket strike from like 10 years ago.
Market Baskets are the best for price, and quality, for sure. All registers open, all the time, with baggers all the time, really... Moves fast for sure. No self check out, but who cares.... The price is right.
Stay warm everyone. Check your parents/elders. Going to be like this all day Im afraid. -11 right now. yikes!
I have an extra ticket for Boygenius/Clairo in June at Suffolk Downs, as one of my friends bailed. Looking to sell at what I paid presale if anyone is interested
I'm visiting Boston for a week at the beginning of June. Can anyone recommend some good places to eat? Thanks
Buttermilk and Bourbon in Watertown is so good. All the tourist sites will tell you go to Mike’s Pastrys in the north end. Don’t. Go one street over and hit up Bova’s instead.
Where in the city are you staying? Boston's a relatively small city and fairly easy to get from one end to the other but relying on the T could be a pain and Ubers can get expensive Bova's is the best though, Lo Conte's next door is always my go-to place in the North End. The food isn't amazing but it is good and the price for the amount of food you get is much better than a lot of places down there
If you want quick options and are on the go in the city, stop at Faneuil Hall. The places previously mentioned are in the North End and a quick walk away. The original Reginas pizza is good but there are so many options. You can probably catch a Sox game for cheap if you buy outfield seats. Not sure what their schedule will be like when you are here.
