Can't wait to drive to Boston tonight through the snow ~~~ Will I see anyone at Cloud Nothings / LVL Up tonight? I'm trying to decide whether to pay for parking near the venue or take the T in.
I have rehearsal in Cohasset and am dreading the drive home in the snow tonight. It's not going to be much, but there are hardly any streetlights on the roads. Ughhh. Sidenote- hoping to snag John Mayer tickets for this April when he's at the Garden. Anyone else??
Pro-tip: Star Market on Comm Ave. Unless there is a major BU event tonight (idk if there is), you can get away with using the parking lot in back. 5 mins from the Paradise. Used to leave my car overnight there regularly when my girlfriend lived close by.
Well it's worth noting that the last time I parked overnight a year ago they left a "we have recorded your license plate blah blah" warning, but there was also a soccer game or some sort of ceremony nearby so they may have just been on alert. Good for you braving the snow though. I am pumped for the show
I won't be leaving it overnight so I hope there wont be any issues. I plan on parking there unless I see any signs that make me nervous.
Word, you'll be fine. Otherwise the service roads on Comm Ave (Packards Corner) have free parking if you can find it, or there's metered parking on that stretch too
If there are going to be parking bans due to the snow I might just park at Riverside and take the T in. It will take longer and be more expensive but yolo
I don't think we are supposed to get that much snow to put a parking ban in place. You should be fine.
Thanks everyone! I just took the t in because I had time to kill. The pike was a shit show like usual but I'm sippin beer in the Paradise Lounge now
Won tickets to Dan Layus at BMH tonight. None of my friends wanted to join so I'm flying solo. Anyone going? Or want my extra ticket? Lol
sup not boston proper, but 80% chance i'll end up in its vicinity later this year (10% to chicago, 10% to nowhere and/or dead)
actually i recommend NOT moving here for school as they force you to go to school during "snow emergencies" such as they are doing right now
