We ended up at Cambridge Beer Works and they were super cool about it. Brought the little dude a water bowl without her even having to ask for it.
I used to work in Newton (off 128 behind Riverside train station) and always had to find back roads to gt to work on Marathon Monday.
do you actually live here now? also happened to be working from home today not realizing it was September 1st, glad I avoided that shitshow.
yup! I'll be here for the next two years at least. the landlady actually let me move in around the 28th so I avoided all that as well.
Move in SUCKED. Had to do an entire move from 3pm onward. Didn't finish getting everything into the new building until 3am. Wasn't even my stuff. Everyone sign 5 year leases.
going back on sunday. packing now. happy to miss the 1st. excited to go back. kind of worried my room will be small. also i dont think my building has an elevator so that should be fun
I always used to be a T person (or walking when I lived in town) but now I'm spending most of my time with a girl who lives in Eastie, so I am learning driving-Boston quickly. Whooooooole other city.
I try to do it as little as possible. I'm better at it now that I've had to drive in for meetings, etc. The commute from work in Hanover to Boston, though... woof.
I spend much of my time driving greater Boston i.e. Watertown, Roslindale, Everett and it will make my hair go grey. Having a car in Allston probably will too
