I don't love JA quite as much as a lot of other people I know, but Excess is delicious. My favorite of theirs by a long shot. Coworker brought me Trillium Fort Point Pale Ale (Mosaic dry-hopped) today. Excellent.
yeah for thin patty burgers if you catch the ave on a good night it really doesnt get much better and double bacon cheeseburger + chili cheese fries from flat patties i love it but it's a tough place to go and not leave a. broke or b. too drunk and I don't feel like you could ever have a crazy enough night there to feel great about scenario b the next day
Fajitas & Ritas is one of my favorite places downtown, but I'm sure it'll be packed today. Dunno what specials they have, but they have fantastic fajitas and quesadillas, as well as liter pitchers of margaritas (either on the rocks or frozen). You don't have to do the pitcher, but you should.
Border Cafe hides Of course, my Cinco De Mayo will probably just be Chipotle for the third time this week and 4 month old store bought Margaritas
Love Sunset Cantina. $4 Mystery Beers. Yess. There's a newer Mexican restaurant in Braintree called Ciello. Excellent drinks. Good food (bit pricey). Still, one of the better Mexican restaurants on the South Shore. They are hard to find.
Russell House Tavern's burger used to be soooo good. Last time I was there it was quite the letdown though. Also, Grass Fed in JP is very solid. And UBurger is always 100% perfection.
I work in the Weston/Wayland/Newton area, and I totally stopped at Diary Joy today on my lunch break. When you work outside, it's unreal.
Block parties start tonight at Dewey Square, every Thursday during the summer! Always a great time. Cheap beer, live music.
