So much music last night in Boston. I saw O'Brother at Great Scott. Underoath and Caspian showed up around 11 to watch their set. It was really interesting. Small crowd, maybe 20-30 people. Underoath dudes were really nice.
Wow they took no time to cool down from their show, they finished close to 10:30, they must have hopped right off stage to the show.
Just bought a ticket to the Further Seems Forever show at BMH. Not till July, but hopefully I'll see some of you there!
There was no traffic getting into the city and we found on street parking in Cambridge without issue last night, what a #blessed time
Just got back from my trip yesterday, and unfortunately I didn't get to any of the recommendations you all provided haha. I was just way too busy trying to see people and didn't have my laptop. However, in under 48 hours I spent time in (eating, drinking, sleeping, putzing around) Boston, Brookline, Brighton, Medford, Cambridge, and Everett, so I think I saw a decent amount of the city! Lol The Publick House, park alongside the harbor in the North End, Cambridge Brewing, NightShift Brewing, The Publick House, and Eagles Deli were all places I went and enjoyed, hopefully will do more in the way of sightseeing next time.
I wonder if that's going to replace the fall Boston Calling, considering it's put on by the same promoter and it's the same weekend as last year's festival.
I was about to ask why you went to Everett on your own free will, but remembered Night Shift haha. Love that place, probably my favorite brewery in the Boston area
Going to try to visit Trillium this weekend while i'm in town for PAX. Went to Jack's Abby last week and it was wonderful
Yeah it was great, we snagged a barrel in the patio area before the rush came on Saturday afternoon when the food truck got there, and the wind stopped making it an absolutely pristine day. As a matter of fact, the weather was amazing all weekend. I didn't see a cloud from the time I crossed into New Hampshire on Wednesday to the time I left back for Halifax Monday morning.
Ever go to o'hare in Chicago? It will make you love Logan. Such an awful airport and the staff I've dealt with there were the worst.
Good to see you again @scott ! I've been to every PAX in Boston and this year may have been my favorite trip.
My roommates were working at PAX this weekend. Did they even bother to bring me home something cool? Nope. Jerks.
It's very much worth it! This year was my fifth, and it's probably my favorite weekend of the year. Great to see you too man, and thank you for letting me know the PSVR registrations opened up at 9, I was able to sign up for for a slot yesterday and it was awesome.
