Really enjoyed this in full. Absolutely love the closer.

 

Yeah this is a great album and agreed on the closer, what a song. "Don't Speak" and "Heart at Home" are other early faves.

I'm really enjoying this, and also more broadly the casually eroded genre boundaries between emo, alt-rock and power-pop that I hear more and more in records these days. often thought of the posies and matthew sweet on my first listen

don't like "bother you" but the rest is rock solid

 

Yeah this is rad. Hilariously, it reminded me of the new Panic! album, except this is good. Classic Elvis Costello-esque power-pop.
