the hair cut scene made me laugh so hard - truly felt like something out of ITYSL

It just does another great job of revealing how dumb hateful and evil some Americans are

  9. The downside to Borat 2 is I’m gonna be saying waawaaweewha all week and my wife (!!!) is going to divorce me

  10. This movie is also weirdly heartwarming - I was genuinely so happy to see them as equals reporting together at the end

This was good, particularly good for a comedy sequel, but I'm not quite as hot on it as everyone else. To me the funniest parts were smaller things, rather than the "big" things (moon dance, giuliani, etc)

I'm impressed if everything was truly candid, and nothing staged, but I don't really understand the logistics of him moving in with 2 dudes and having a camera following them around?!

    Pretty good!

I honestly just want an entire season of the real word where it’s just Borat and those q anon dudes

Yeah whether he tells the locals (out of character) that the cameras are there to film a movie or not, I'm not sure we really know. With the QAnon dudes, I would assume they just thought he was some foreign guy and had cameras there to follow his journey. Now whether the camera people acted in character as well or not I'd like to know as well, haha

I want to know the original ending they had planned as it's clear they rewrote a lot of this to make it fit COVID so perfectly

The hair cut was my favorite little bit. Him seeking approval every time he cut. I would watch a full length of that.

Yeah you can tell the point the movie takes a turn because of the lockdown starting. Up that point everything was pre-March (CPAC was the end of February), then all of a sudden they start filming him going to things that took place over the summer (the alt-right rally where he sings the song).

Although I imagine they had always planned to get Giuliani because setting that kind of thing up would’ve taken time. But yeah I imagine the twist about Borat being used to spread COVID across the world was something they came up with between when they shot the first half of the movie and when they shot the second half.

that just seems like a weird one to assume it was staged, as it’s one of the least outrageous moments of the movie
