Ooh, that sounds fantastic. I've never read it. It's on my list now though, which probably means an irresponsible impulse buy in the next month or so. I'll let you know once I've read it!

It's such a beautiful book. "The Angel's Game" is a prequel of sorts--moreso because it takes place prior in the same universe, but not as a real prequel so they can be read out of order--and "The Prisoner of Heaven" is a direct sequel to both of them...if you get addicted, haha.

Well, we're a quarter of the way through the year and I'm halfway done with my goal. :) Granted, most of these are comics, but still. It's been a great year so far. Lots of good stuff on my to-read list, too.

    Updated through March.

Definitely a slower month for me but I did read 2 ACTUAL books so that's progress!

Updated for April. I can't believe I've read 45 books this year. I keep unintentionally waking up at 6am so have just been reading for an hour each morning. Makes a difference.

Updated my list. I finished my target of 52 last night. Feels like a big achievement - it took me until September last year!

Blame my sleep patterns. I keep waking up at 6am - instead of sitting on Facebook I've been reading for an hour before getting up.

This is embarrassing to admit but I'm trying to read more this year, as last year I don't think I finished a single book.. pathetic, I know. Finished two recently:

    The Princess Diarist- Carrie Fisher
    Party of One- Dave Holmes

Adored Party of One. Last few chapters really resonated with me. Easy read, too.

Just ordered a book called We are the Ants. Hoping to start it after a major work event I have next week.

I see a theme! I recently read 23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism by Ha-Joon Chang. Saw you've read one of his others so think you'd enjoy it if you've not read it before.

I've developed a huge interest in politics over the last few years, so earlier this year I decided I would attempt to become more knowledgeable about it haha. 23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism is definitely on my list to check out, I like Chang's style a lot. He makes complex stuff very easy to understand!

Definitely! It gives a very brief history of how socialism has developed over time. My only criticism is that it left me wanting more, but it's only a short introduction so I'm being unfair I guess haha.
