Bonny Doon - Longwave (March 23, 2018) Album

I've read some glowing things about this band but never got around to checking them out, interested in this

 

I think I’m going to like this album a lot.

 

This album is really good.

 

This is out and great!

 

This is really good/relaxing, mood of the record reminds me of Spencer Radcliffe a bit

 

I should probably check this since they’re opening for Snail Mail this summer

This is good, but is also not the alt-country or the “written in the woods” type music I was promised from the Pitchfork review

 

Haha yeah when I was reading that review that description gave me a good laugh.

 

probably why i like it, hahaha

 

They probably just saw they were touring with Band of Horses and went with that lazy description.

 

but then they're also touring with snail mail which makes more sense, heh

 

Lol one of the Bonny Doon people wrote music for the Flagrant Ones!

Such a great band. A Lotta Things is one of those songs I forget about and then it blows me away every time I stumble back on it.

this sounds good and def gives me the Saint Cloud vibes I hoped it would
