Been listening to the EC live version and the leak for the past month. I'm so helplessly in love with this album. I really, really can't wait to hear everyone's opinion on it. It will truly be something else for those who haven't heard it yet.

They played a surprise show at The Lakely/Oxbow Hotel here in Eau Claire on Saturday. I was there about thirty minutes before they showed up... So, so close.
Not sure if anyone was still waiting on my "instrumental mix" of Bon Iver, Bon Iver... I was supposed to get a new pair of monitors to mix on, the deal fell through though. Been doing some rough work on my headphones, and will hopefully pick myself up some better equipment before the end of the year. Hopefully it'll be done in January.
Here's a link to the first of the Bon Iver, Bon Iver Instrumental tracks: Holocene. Holocene (Instrumental).wav Lemme know what you guys think!
Very cool. Noticed so many more details because of this. Edit: Hadnt gotten to the ending before I originally posted this. Beautiful. My wife and I had our first dance to this song so its pretty special to me, and its really great to hear it in a new way
Been getting my friend into For Emma because it's currently on constant repeat. Feel like I'm living Justin's life around then right now. Maybe I need to find a cabin...
The song For Emma might be my all-time favorite from this guy. Every single time I hear it, the song still hits. I know lyrically it is on the sadder side, but the guitar and horns make me feel pure bliss every time. I don't know what my all-time favorite songs would be, but a spot would definitely be reserved for For Emma. Also this video of them walking around Paris singing it might be my favorite video in existence.
Did the presale code come up for you it still isn't listed (or do you think it'll pop up tomorrow at ten?)
I have tickets for Lorde at the BC the following week that I am now selling to fund this haha. Worth it.
If I combined the amount of hours I've spent driving to see Bon Iver it would be roughly around 98 hahaha
