Gotta be coming this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they play the new album front to back at Eaux Claires (probably just don't want to say that right now), and release it right after that.
Last years Eaux Claires set was 15 songs. Do you guys think it is actually going to be 100% new stuff?
My guess, and I could be wrong, is that they're going to do two sets. One of all new material, and one of old material. If that's the case, my life would be made haha.
That Heavenly Father performance really was spectacular. I also love the fact that he performed at the Sydney Opera House while wearing a baseball cap.
Still waiting for another UK date. I missed the Wembley show in late 2012 as I was at uni, and he hasn't been back since.
If we got an album in August or shortly thereafter, I would lose my mind. 2016 has been a monumental year for music, so new Bon Iver would be perfect. Also, Justin Vernon please come to Michigan.
oddly enough, out of all the 'maybe possibly could it be we'll wait and see' artists "releasing" albums this year, Bon Iver is the one that strikes me as the most likely. I have nothing to back that statement up but a gut feeling.
