After a long 3 year wait and multiple postponements, I finally caught him last night. It was incredible, probably the best sounding show I've ever been to, and everything I wanted from the setlist.

 

Also, looks like a couple of nights ago they debuted a new song, rumoured title is Speyside

 

yeah, i just saw that suggested to me on youtube yesterday and was surprised i hadn't heard about it. looks like it's been played two times so far

 

Nice! Hopefully he's gearing up for a new album next year.

 

Two bands' live performances have basically been "spiritual" experiences for me - with no other band coming close. Every Bon Iver (every time), and the one time I saw Sigur Ros in 2006. Still think about those performances. Just insane.

 

I keep having to rewatch the video I took of CREEKS last night. Stunning.

 

He brought Taylor and Aaron out last night for Exile. I picked the wrong London date

 

is that the first time they’ve done Exile outside of those studio sessions ?

 

Yeah, first time it's been performed live as far as I'm aware

Absolutely wild that GA bon iver tickets for Ogden, UT were $20. Has to be a record.

sure did! i was gonna splurge on VIP tickets ($75 each) but they sold out before i could get em. but i got 3 GA tickets, $28 a piece AFTER fees.

 

Wow. Last year I think I spent like nearly 70 after fees for them

 

Also snagged two for the Twilight series. Hopefully the rest of the lineup is as stacked as last year.
