In the NYT video interview Justin said that while he's of course loved all of his openers over the years, that Dijon/Mk.gee was the first time he felt truly humbled, made him feel like his music was "dinosaur-ish" and that Dijon/Mk.gee was the future

 

That tour was great. Still baffled he did not play Hey Ma, but the stage production was nuts and Dijon opening was an incredible get

Turned on Atmos for my current listen. Unsurprisingly, the depth on this is quite good.

 

I listened to this several times yesterday and really liked it.

This morning it clicked.

Holy shit.

 

Certainly hits on a WHOLE different level on sunny warm-ish morning

 

With headphones is the best way to listen to this

Isn’t Danielle Haim on 2 songs? Why is she only featured on one?

 

I think it's just being differentiated by a prominent feature vs harmony and background vocals

Yeah I was being a moron yesterday, this is a very good record. Not my favorite sound of his but it’s still good.

 

I love this all besides “I’ll be there.” That one is doing nothing for me but that could change.
