This is so cool.
Yeah! Maybe one of these days I’ll actually meet him! They’ve met him a few times and said he’s super great, down to earth. He’s sat out by their Bonfire before.
We were there last summer I think, maybe around Eaux Claires and about an hour or so after we left our family member claims he came over with Conor Oberst and introduced him to everyone? I don’t know how true it is but I was really hoping for a Conor collab after that.
It would honestly make sense for Connor to be at EXC last year. Just because he’s so close to Phoebe who is obviously close with Justin. Most of my favorite musicians all hang out in the same groups and that makes me so happy.
Faith is so massive
I've been so wrapped up in this new album news that I don't know about any good releases today. Somebody help me out.
Blood Orange, Purple Mountains, Gauche
so hey, discounting "Wisconsin" as a track on FE, FA, the new album will be Bon Iver's longest release! fuck yeah
yooo that crispy realisation when you see their store is selling a bundle of ALL FOUR ALBUMS + Blood Bank on vinyl for $130 Australian (That's like 100 for you Americans last I checked). I copped that real quick lmao
That's a super solid deal
1867 has been renamed to "Marion" so that's on the album too..
People were speculating that maybe "Salem" was 89 with a different name. Justin just said that's not the case and that 89 is "on it's own internal long path"
So basically 89 is Justin's "True Love Waits" so we can expect a studio version in 2036! Stoked.
all of these songs are fucking awesome.
wish i didn't burn out the come through songs so much. definitely didn't anticipate more than 2 or 3 being on the album
1867 was the only one I was more hyped for than Hey, Ma... I can't believe we're getting both

I edited it but goddamn lol, honestly worth the wait for me
I like all of the songs that have been released but "U" is actually maybe my favorite song he's ever written
My ranking of the singles that nobody asked for:
2. U (Man Like)
3. Hey Ma
U (Man Like)
that's me coming in with I assume the most basic bitch opinion, but w/e. "Jelmore" is... odd, feels more like an interlude almost, will be interesting to see how it fits on the album
I’m so excited to hear all of these songs in context of the album.
I love Jelmore.
