I really like Johns initial interpretation of the lyrics

 

Really like it. The woodwinds in the verses remind me of Jon Brion. A much better cover than the 3EB version

 

I like Gaslight/Brian’s cover.

I’ve heard nothing from the record/artist but everything I’ve read about it has me extremely excited to check it on Friday.

 

I was honesty hooked a few seconds into the first track. Didn’t expect to even really like this let alone love it. Excited for more people to listen.

 

My first and only experience with his music was last year when he opened for Bon Iver at the Ryman, which was for the most part entertaining, but didn’t really excite me enough to check out any of his recorded material. But based on JV having his hands in this album I’ll give it a go.

 

I was lucky enough to be in the crowd for that show, absolutely phenomenal. Seeing my favourite artist in Australia's most iconic venue was a dream come true!

 

Wow, seriously? I mean it when I say that this is the best video on the internet and one of the best live performances of all time. Can't believe you got to see that show.

 

It kind of meanders in the second half but it closes very strong. The first 4-5 songs are incredible. Track 3 features Justin.
