I got to hangout with Sean and talk about Justin and Eaux Claires for about an hour though so I'm still glad everything happened the way it did.

 

I’m so sorry about that! It’s a completely devastating and draining process going through the financial aspect of it, but I’m glad you’re ok!

The other day I went through the original Bon Iver thread and read all the initial reactions to this video. I'm still floored by it daily.

I hope there's someone in the thread that hasn't heard Justin singing "Ain't No Sunshine".

 

Holy cow this performance is powerful. Is there a video of the full set that you’d recommend? Full on rock mode.

 

Yup.

Something really special happened during the Cork Opera House set and it wasn't even the choir. Towards the end of the set (50:38 to be exact) Justin brings out Fionn Regan to sing "Abacus" which is where the "days have no numbers" sample comes from.

You probably knew where the sample came from but whatever haha

 

Bonus: here's them doing the song together at Michelberger fest. You can see Justin wipe away tears and hug Fionn at the end of the video. All the feels.

 

Nah, had no idea! Excited to watch.

Anyone love DeYarmond Edison? The warmer weather always makes driving with the windows down better with some DE. Trying to decide what are the best songs out of that band.
