Damn I really should have went to the Pioneer Works shows, doesn't seem like he's gonna come back to NYC any time soon.
Lol that’s the day when people from Toronto, the most spoiled concert city in Canada bad mouth Edmonton for getting a show they don’t get I don’t feel bad
Nov 2017 - Louisville Feb 2018 - Milkwaukee June - Chicago July - Detroit July - Eau claire Gonna hit every corner of the midwest for Bon Iver in 9 months hahaha
Hasn't been confirmed and won't be confirmed. But is "highly likely" according to Justin. There won't be an official lineup released either.
I'm sorry but that's p annoying haha. If I'm gonna shell out a lot of money, take off from work etc etc, I want to know everyone that's gonna be there.
I'm not even salty (well, yes I am, I want to see BI sooo bad). It's more of a ???? because it's rare that those are the Canadian cities that get hit up.
I do kind of agree with you. I'm not 100% sure I'm going this year. Bon Iver coming to Detroit with The National (all but confirmed for EXC) 2 weeks after EXC plus this Chicago show is going to make it really hard to pull the trigger on tickets. I trust them to give me an amazing/unique experience but I just moved into an apartment and I may need to be a bit more responsible this year. Still prolly gonna be there though lol. I don't think I could forgive myself if I missed out.
We do know the following are basically locks so it sounds pretty great already The National Big Red Machine Phoebe Bridgers Julien Baker serpentwithfeet Anais Mitchell Kevin Morby Francis + the lights Sharon Van Etten Moses Sumney
Yeah I mean it doesn't really have anything to do with me doubting it'll be great. It's more just that I'm only gonna do EXC or P4K, so I need all the info I can on each before making a decision haha
I also just can’t wait till it’s after 10 and I’ve bought my tickets because I’m always a little anxious buying tickets for shows that I know will sell out, even when I have nothing to worry about lol
It's warranted when it comes to Bon Iver. The theater shows usually sell out in seconds. Luckily the Chicago date is a lawn seat situation.
