This album has an addictive nature to it unlike many albums released in the last few years. I'm forever grateful for his first two records for being cornerstones of my taste as its evolved, but this is the only album of his I foresee myself returning to often.

 

TBH 33 "GOD" is possibly my favorite BI song ever at this point. It gets me irrationally pumped every time I put it on. I can listen to it 5 times in a row with no problem.

 

There is no such thing as irrational for that. Extremely rational

 

I cannot get enough of "Liner" and the rest of the Hazeltons EP lately

There's just something about that lead guitar tone

Such a great comp. All of the artists bring their a-game, It's not a bunch of b-sides.

 

Great stuff on there, particularly Sufjan and Iron & Wine for me

 

that reminds me, did you catch the Big Red Machine set at EC?

 

Of course. It was great but you could definitely tell it was a project still in development. The songs were mostly unfinished ideas/jam sessions.

 

I will absolutely be going to this.

Absolutely. I wouldn’t be surprised if still years from now it’s the BI album I come back to most.

 

Going back and reading this thread when this was first coming out is a great time So excited to see what comes next.

This version of Holocene is amazing.

 

Looked into the Mexico shows, but $1600 a person is somewhat insane to me.

 

They seem to be teasing something and it's driving me fucking crazy.
