All European tour dates cancelled. Along with Justin's appearance on Prairie Home Companion in Chicago (that I paid 180 FUCKING DOLLARS FOR)

Hope they're all okay, but fuck.. This sucks. They're offering refunds for the Euro tour but not the Chicago date.

 

I wonder what's up

 

Goddamn I hope he releases a studio version of this at some point. What a tune.

 

Justin's mental health has been a major issue for him the past few years. It could be that or a death in the family. Has to be something quite extreme to cancel an entire tour.

Doing my best to try and not be insensitive but damn.. Not worth it to me to drive to Chicago to that show if Justin isn't to be there

 

had tickets to the Blackpool, UK date of the cancelled tour. Super gutted they've cancelled because i've been waiting to see them for years. However, i hope the reasons behind it are not too serious and everyone's okay

 

Me too, got my boyfriend tickets as a Christmas present for Edinburgh. Oh well, least I'll still get a holiday out of it I guess!

I went a full week without listening to this which might be the longest since it came out.. Sitting here at work and it;s blowing me away for the 1000th time.

That part still gives me extreme chills.

 

I've warmed up to this album a lot, it's not as drastic a shift from previous Bon Iver albums that it first sounded like. His voice ties everything together really well, and there are a ton of beautiful songs on this album.

Is this "89" track worth listening to? I usually don't like live as my first impression of a song.

 

Holy shit, yes. It could very well be my favorite Bon Iver song ever. Just look up "bon iver - new song 2 eaux claires 2015" or something like that and should pop up

 

And see, all I got from this video is that this is a potentially good song muffled badly by someone's cell phone video. It might be special but it didn't come across that way.

 

This Michelberger stuff is insane. I just went on an hour long Youtube journey and don't regret it one bit

 

Definitely the best version of _45_ I've heard.

Did you watch the "folk circle" with him, Sam Amidon, Damien Rice +others? I watch it once a day.

Have you heard live @ Pioneer Works? It's just about as good of quality as you can get for a live album/show.

Not for the prairie home companion show, no. Although once they announced Andrew Bird was playing in his place I sold my tickets at a slight profit

 

I can't believe it's legal for a venue to not refund you for a cancelled concert. I would commit arson

 

the show wasn't cancelled though. he was just replaced

 

All of the Bon Iver concerts were refunded. It was different in my case. It was only Justin scheduled to appear by himself as a guest. Without him, the show could still go on.
