Hey man not sure if you'll see this but I haven't been to any of the NYC shows. But I do know but from reading around that the show usually actually starts at 8:30pm. People were lining upside 4-5 hours before doors. Fucking enjoy what you're about to see!!
I've really come around on this record and it's been an interesting journey to say the least. Nobody ever reviewed it for the site, so I wrote a bit about it for EOTY coverage: Bon Iver - 22, A Million • chorus.fm
Great review @Craig Manning im glad you've learned to love this album. I never hated it or even disliked it but I did need some time to figure out exactly what it was doing and why. Now it's my AOTY and maybe my second favorite BI album
Thanks! I'm glad I kept coming back to it. It's probably the album I've been playing most this month, since the snow arrived. Not sure how I'd rank the BI albums at this point. They're all so great.
Yeah man.. It's actually insane how perfectly it's mixed for being a live show. The best version of deathbreast EASILY.
Great show. No matter how many times I watch Vernon live I always end up back in the Calgary video from the opera theatre performance.

I realize I'm triple posting at this point but I don't want anyone to ever forget about this song "89" is in the vinyl art and original track list. It was supposed to be apart of the album but he said it just "didn't fit". Currently Bon Iver is following "89" people on instagram. Their actual post count is at 88 and every time they post a show flyer, they erase an older picture. December 27th will mark the "89th" day 22, A Million has been out. I'm almost positive Justin is going to drop the song on that day. In my opinion it's the best thing he's ever written under the Bon Iver name.
Listening right now and regretting putting this at number 11 on my end of year list. Should've put this top 10 Think it sounds even better with snow on the ground
I'm a little late to the party, but this post is crazy. I couldn't find a studio version of "89" Did it get released?
