I dont know what it us about this album. Half the time I dont know what he's saying but something about it is so attractive.
Ok so I've listened six times and listened just now on a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island with my wife and a couple friends and everyone was silent during Creeks and it was fucking beautiful. Definitely starting to click
listened to this a few times throughout the day. interesting and neat at times and certainly feels like a fall record but not sure how much i'll go back to this (much like all of Bon Iver's stuff I like it but don't love it or become obsessed with it)
Im an idiot and first heard it as "sharon smoke" and then wondered who the hell sharon smoke is. Been listening to it in between Luke Cage. Might be my AOTY (need to spin 1975 again, but adore that album so much as well)
After my first listen Strafford Appts is the clear standout to me. Trying to dig deeper into the rest but keep hitting replay on straff
This was my first vinyl purchase ever. I don't even own a record player. This album means a lot to me already.
This record is so fucking good.goddamn. Still haven't listened to the live version. May not for awhile.
Does anyone know if this made the deadline for the 2017 Grammys? If so it definitely deserves AOTY nom.
Just finished my third listen, this is absolutely stunning. I realized half way through my last listen that I had mono audio on my headphones, so I'll need to go back and listen with that off.
