Yeah, I'm guessing I'll like it more as I listen more. I only listened to the live version once, so I didn't think it would affect my feelings on the studio version much. Now I'm glad I didn't listen more.

I liked the rest of this a fair amount. Tough to get a handle on it from one listen to a less-than-perfect rip though.

 

i love the way the drums sound throughout this album. there's times when they feel pretty low in the mix, but i think it works.

 

It's definitely the least I've loved a Bon Iver album on first listen, though I expect this is the kind of album that will be a grower for most people.

 

how good is "8 (circle)" though? man i love that song.

Not sure at all if I'm going to cave and listen to the leak, but I listened to 33 God and loved it.

 

So what happened with this? My understanding is that GOD was supposed to be released today, but Danish iTunes accidentally released everything except GOD?

 

Yep. Same thing happened with BI, BI. I remember getting it like a whole month early in near perfect quality.

Dang this sounds different than the live version. It's like we got 2 versions of this album!

 

This is phenomenal... my first impression is that it's a very cool progression from BI,BI.

 

If that damn Pinegroove album places higher than this on the EOTY list we riot
