I wonder what kind of sound we’re going to get

I’m in the minority around here but Everything Else Has Gone Wrong bored me to tears - sounded like b-sides from their previous album 6 years ago to my ears, and with all their ability to vary their sound that disappointed me

Then again I love this band and am always in

 

I think it's held up really well and even if everything they had planned for it had to be put on ice due to the pandemic, thought it was excellent at the time and getting to see them live not only once, but twice, right before everything shut down was just... really special, even more so in hindsight. wip song clips on Twitter and Insta are sounding tasty as fuck.

 

I’ve loved their last few albums but also hoping they go in some weird directions for this one

 

considering they're on record as having been working on new music in bits and pieces since mid-2020 I have no idea what to expect

 

I like their last one and pretty much all their stuff. Excited for it.

 

Everything Else was fantastic. Can't wait so see what's next with these guys!

I’d love to hear more of a return to the sound on A Different Kind of Fix, thought that had some of their best tunes ever (Shuffle, Lights Out Words Gone, How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep)

I just don’t know where the 10/20 date came from.

 

“My Big Day” is certainly an interesting choice for first single. Not particularly my thing or the energy I’m used to from this band

I do pray that isn’t the album cover, because the title is bad enough
