Holy shit was that Vincent as the kid getting worked on by the clowns in Princess Caroline's apartment?
Like 3 times an episode I wanna come in here and post a really great little joke, like the continuous ridiculous seating at Girl Croosh
I think my favorites are "But what if the kids had shoes that could run faster than the bullets??" and "Hi I'm Zach Braff" and "throwing scripts off your deck where the lead character is female"
Finished the season last night and I've been thinking about it all day When the last episode finished my first thought was "that's it?" because it wasn't what I was expecting. Every other season has ended on some sort of personal crisis for BoJack, but this one actually gave him some sort of a happy moment of genuine connection in the face of a family he's never known. The season felt more uplifting to me, with BoJack actually making some progress into being a less selfish person which I hope continues into next season. On the flip side I really enjoyed Princess Caroline's arc this season, with her slipping into her own self destructive tendencies after facing tragedies in her own right. I put Ruthie up there with Escape From L.A., Downer Ending, and That's Too Much, Man as some of the most heartbreaking episodes of any show. Really excited to watch this season again
Been binging this all afternoon and goddamn, episode 11 cut me real deep. 9 was very rough but I just need to take a break after 11 even though there's only one left.
I won't be able to start this for a bit but from what I gather this season continues the emotionally devastating second-to-last episode trend?
I'm messaging everyone I have on Facebook asking them if they like Bojack Horseman, and if they respond with anything other than "It's my favourite show of all time" I'm blocking the shit out of them. I don't want people like that in my life.
Got through 8 episodes and started to feel my attention slipping. Loving the season so far but just generally have a hard time binging things haha. From the looks of things in here, tomorrow with the last four will fuck my shit up. I think my favorite so far was episode...... 6 maybe? Whichever one that had the whole Bojack internal monologue with the trippy animation. I really loved how they handled that and it gives such great insight to his inner workings and how he comes to the frustrating conclusions he always comes to. Holly talking about the voices in her head at the end gave me some chills.
Yeah, I'm 7 episodes in and "Stupid Piece of Shit" has been my favorite so far. Bojack does that conceptual episode stuff so well.
I want you to tell me who my mother is, who do I look like Josh Radnor? breakfast? Who am I? Emilio Estevez Molly Ringwald Judd Nelson and the principal? don't you forget about me I don't have an office you said offices have corners and corners are the patriarchy, fine can I talk to you in the hot take cool down yoga area Lizzy Dunbar rented Freaky Friday at a sleepover and I got sad because I didn't have a mom to switch bodies with why would they release a movie called Autumn In New York in the summer that makes no sense she's a medium and she travels in time? she can solve every crime except for her husband's murder, by the way your show sucks it should be called Tedium Flackery Will Get You Everywhere, flackery flack let's talk frack Tonya Harding, she's not gonna be happy to see me, she says sleeping with me was the worst thing to ever happen to her
Just finished, holy shit that was amazing. Think taking a break between episode 8 and 9 was a good spot, those last four were such a roller coaster. Had to wait a minute before starting the finale so I could finish crying. Just really love the insight they gave this season by delving into Beatrice's upbringing. It was so well done never felt like it was overshadowing the other stories. Such a subtle moment but in episode 11 when Butterscotch goes "you think I enjoy groveling to my own wife, hat in hand?" and then a hat suddenly glitches into his hand.... that like, captured the entire essence of this show haha. The dialogue, the the dumb subtle jokes jammed into the corners of otherwise dark moments and thick plotlines.
Just finished. Loved the first half of the season but it essentially did a lot of leg work to make the second half utterly remarkable. I have no idea how this show manages to be so consistently amazing. Favorite episodes were 2, 6, 11, and 12.
