Been listening to Tell Tale Signs a bunch recently. Red River Shore is absolutely incredible. Can't get enough atm
Well I’m having fun! More enjoyable for me than World Gone Wrong, which is the last new (to me) thing I’ve heard from him
listening to Bringing It All Back Home again, this is definitely the one to start with. the first of his burgeoning rock and the last of his original folk styles in a tight 45 minutes, and there's not a single bad song in the bunch. unreal album
gotta be up there with the most rewarding single days ever in music. just Tambourine Man and It's Alright Ma happening on the same day is unbelievable enough
I've just discovered this song and holy shit, easily one of his best ever finally catching Complete Unknown tonight, I'm so ready
that was pretty great, Mangold knows his movies. loved Boyd Holbrook playing Cash as just a massive shit stirrer lmao couple of weird decisions like compressing the recording sessions for BIABH and H61 into one thing. and I can't believe they censored the "play it fucking loud" but had swearing all over the rest of the movie, so bizarre. but still really good stuff
glad you enjoyed it. It’s wild that 17 or so years into my obsession I’m still finding new things to love about this dude
