Went to look for the Dylan thread to say that most days "Idiot Wind" is my favorite song of his...and discovered that there was no thread. Unacceptable! So here it is.

There definitely used to be a thread, think it went a few days ago!

Favourite Dylan song is probably It's All Over Now, Baby Blue.

Yeah I figure it was one of the ones made by the user that got nuked.

Been listening to some of his later work this week: Infidels, Love & Theft, Modern Times. I've pretty much exhausted his golden age and feel like branching out. I think Time Out of Mind will always be my favorite latterday Dylan, though.

Working my way through the discography again. His debut his some really great story songs. Forgot how much I liked some of the phrases on "Talkin' New York"

"New Pony" is low key one of my favorite Dylan tracks.

Met up with one of my favorite professors yesterday and he played some Warren Zevon covers from shortly after he passed. It was so good.

Considered buying the new release, but it being a cover album puts me off. I've enjoyed his covers, but it's no priority to me right now.

Honestly I probably go back to Desire as much as any of his records. It may not be the best on a song-for-song basis, but I love the sound so much

I dig Desire. I also think New Morning is vastly underrated.

Wayyyyy too much to actually consume, but I bet there's some fantastic cuts on here.

Something about fall requires me to listen to Blood On The Tracks everyday.

That's literally the album I just listened to while driving.

Dylan just won the Nobel Prize for Literature, for his body of work.

Well deserved. Another day, another spin for Blood On The Tracks.

Ever heard "Lonesome River Edge"? It was recorded as apart of the Banjo Tapes and was very short but I can never get enough of it.

Call me crazy but I think The Tallest Man on Earth lifted this melody for the song "Into The Stream"

I saw the Nobel Prize news this morning and realized that I really like his music but have never really listened through his albums. Where should I begin?

Do you prefer a more stripped down acoustic sound or more rock based stuff?

Depends on my mood lol. How about a few recommendations of each style?
