I get artists cashing in to “settle estates” while alive. I’m sure they’ve seen so many of their peers families battle it out if they past away unexpectedly.

It’s also interesting to see companies think and obviously can profit off their $100’s of millions catalog purchases. That’s playing the long game.

Also shows the power and financial success the art of songwriting/performing has.

 

It should be noted that even if you try to settle your estate early, it doesn't mean your heirs won't still try to pull shit.
