“I contain multitudes” is probably the lyric that’s stuck with me more than any other in the past year or two. Or ten.

 

Walt Whitman coined the phrase but it's a good one for sure

 

Wow i had no idea. And i’ve even read this poem before

 

based off the two tracks, this has the makings of being his best since time out of mind

 

Of the three pre-release tracks I've only listened to "Murder" and I think I'm keeping it that way since the record is so close

 

There’s a 3rd song out too called false prophet

 

Has there been any more clarification about when this material was recorded?

9.0 BNM. My tastes usually line up pretty well with Sam Sodomsky and they seem to love this record so I am somehow now even more excited

I honestly love his Christian trilogy. Not everything is great but you can't stand there and tell me Every Grain of Sand isn't one of his best songs.

 

saved is legitimately my fave dylan album, the songs are so beautiful, especially "covenant woman," "what can i do for you," "pressing on"
