Yeah part of what makes it so fantastic. It works as just a listen or upon closer inspection, which the great ones tend to do

 

Been listening to this today. Enjoying a lot more than his previous stuff as BO. Cupid Deluxe had it's moment, but it didn't click. A lot of this has peaked my interest immediately. Will probably go back to his older stuff after a few more listens of this.

Also, I loved Test Icicles. Soundtrack of many a night out in my mid 20's. God, i'm old.

 

Cupid Deluxe is still my favourite album of his, but this is pretty good too.

 

I totally agree with this. The album would've worked better if he had kept the album shorter like his previous releases:

12. Better Than Me

"Chance" and "Better Than Me" are sooooo good.

i've been seeing ads from that ridiculous campaign plastered all over the subway and I just don't get it

 

I can't even imagine where he's gonna go with a new one, feel like I haven't even fully digested this album yet

 

Yeah this album is such a remarkable achievement I can't even imagine where he'll go next.
