Listened to this today. It's....totally fine but mainly came here to comment on the insane amount of press/publicity this record is getting and yet, she hasn't even sold out the Bowery Ballroom in NYC.

Anyways, I'll listen to this a few more times to see if it catches.

 

Yeah there is a lot of press about her and this album but the album is great IMHO so I don’t mind. The more people listening the better!

 

Joiner is so good/nostalgic sounding

That's actually true as I listened to the entire thing on my commute last week!

 

I saw her live tonight! It was a great time! The show sold out instantly when tickets went on sale but luckily the venue released a handful more the day before the show so I was able to go. She played her Samia cover and a Le Tigre cover that I was unfamiliar with and then just a handful of songs from this album. I mean, you can only play for so long with just one album out lol I think her set was under one hour, but still good!

 

Just snagged a ticket for her show on Wed (must have been a ticket drop). Looking forward to checking it out.

I enjoy this album. lyrics are pretty unique. I can't tell if they're good or bad haha
